Base of Operations
01 — BUFFALOBuffalo, NY city skyline at dusk — City Hall, Electric Tower, Seneca One

Buffalo, NY

Home datacenter in Buffalo, New York — zone-segmented networking across five functional layers: edge, network, compute, data, apps. Hardware that mirrors the same architectural patterns used at scale in production cloud.

The live network diagram on this site fetches real topology from an API at runtime. Every node, link, and status reflects infrastructure that is actually running.

Infrastructure at Scale
02 — CLOUD + ON-PREMServer rack with labeled slot lines

Cloud + On-Prem

Multi-cloud platform design across GCP, AWS, and Azure — GKE clusters handling 2M+ daily authentications at 384k logins per minute during market open, hybrid datacenter operations, IaC provisioning that cuts setup from months to weeks.

40+ migrations across 7 regions and datacenters. Self-service platform serving 60+ application teams. Continuous configuration across 1,000+ nodes.

CI/CD & Automation
03 — EVERY DEPLOYNode flow pipeline diagram

Every Deploy,
Automated

Deployment cycles cut 80%. Release frequency moved from weekly to daily. 50+ pipelines consolidated into standardized templates serving 30+ application teams at 99% deployment success, with automated rollback.

CIS SCM best practices enforced through code across 40+ repositories. Branch policies, merge-request gating, 40% annual pipeline cost reduction.

Reliability Record
04 — FOUR NINESRising reliability trend line on dark background

Four Nines

99.99% uptime at Charles Schwab across multi-region GKE with 24/7 on-call and BigQuery-driven operational analytics. 4-nines availability across 25-node mirrored clusters spanning 80+ application servers at IGT.

Reliability is identifying failure modes before they become incidents — capacity planning, load testing, architecture review, proactive SLO tracking baked into the build pipeline.

Questions, answered

Is the datacenter real?

Yes. The datacenter page renders a live network diagram of a home datacenter. 17 hosts appear as nodes across five zones: EDGE, NETWORK, COMPUTE, DATA, APPS. The backend probes each host. Alive hosts glow in their zone color.

How does the fitness engine work?

The fitness engine compares a job description with the actual resume. Four steps run in order: Fit Check, Ask AI About Me, Knowledge Graph, and Dynamic Lens. Paste a job description to start.

What is Ask AI?

Ask AI is a dedicated page at /resume-wizard/. It runs the full fitness chain: Fit Check, Ask AI About Me, Knowledge Graph, and Dynamic Lens. The hero button links straight to it.

Is the git graph live?

Yes. The git graph renders the actual commit history of this repository. Every branch, merge, and tag comes from the repository itself and regenerates with each build.

How is this site deployed?

A push to the develop branch triggers GitLab CI/CD. The pipeline builds container images and runs health checks. Argo Rollouts promotes a canary release while Istio routes traffic on Kubernetes.
